We used to worry whenever we went out of town because we didn't have the right person to watch Sirius. But then we found Diane! I'm quite sure that Sirius likes being with Diane more than he likes being with us (especially since that pesky toddler showed up). Diane goes above and beyond with everything. She clearly loves Sirius and gives him lots of attention and exercise. And she takes great care of our house while we're away and even changes the sheets on the bed and sometimes leaves us treats. And, on our last trip, Diane started a blog for Sirius so we got to follow along with his funny adventures! We are so lucky that we found Diane and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.

Nina

I don't know what I'd do without Diane. I used to feel really guilty about leaving my dog Nina at home while I was at work. Because she's a bit of a princess. And needs (deserves!) a lot of individual attention. But Diane is more than happy to indulge her. I actually get a little jealous when I hear about their day. So now I don't feel so bad about leaving her. And I get more done at the office. Because I know there's a happy hound at home.

ELLIE

I would have been lost without The Happy Hound during the first few months after my pup, Ellie, joined my household. The Happy Hound was always there when I needed help to get Ellie some good exercise, companionship and--of course--bathroom breaks during my workdays. Ninety-some inches of snow? No problem! Diane has been walking our boy Willis for almost a year now. We decided to go with her after observing her at the dog park with some of her "clients." More than any of the other walkers we've seen there, she is very hands-on with the dogs. Always playing with them interacting with them and making sure that they are having a good time. She's very knowledgable about dog behavior and knows when it's time to step in and make everyone take a break. She really loves the dogs she cares for and I know that Willis loves her like he does his parents and is always thrilled to see her. You won't find a more conscientious, attentive, loving dog walker in Cambridge!

Alice

Our dog, Alice, has been lucky to have Diane for her walker for almost two years, since she was a puppy. Diane is the best! She matched Alice with her best dog friend, Ruby, for puppy play dates and took them together every day. Diane really cares about the dogs she walks, and I think Alice sees her as her third human and greets her with great excitement -- lots of tail wagging. Diane is extremely conscientious - she always brings water for the dogs when it's hot, and uses the full hour of time to make sure Alice gets the exercise she needs. We've also had Diane stay with Alice at our place when we go away for trips, and Alice seems much calmer when we return than when we've left her at boarding places. Her rates are extremely reasonable for Cambridge. We recommend Diane to everyone we meet who is looking for a great dog walker.
